Among the job duties:

Performs operation/ maintenance duties at a comprehensive water resource project consisting of a flood control dam/ appurtenance structures/recreational facilities and roads. Troubleshoots/locates and makes basic repairs of electrical wiring/controls/equipment and fixtures in project intake structures/outlet works/dams/gauging stations/office and maintenance buildings/recreational facilities and other electrical systems. Performs trades and crafts work to include carpentry/masonry/mobile and non-mobile equipment servicing and repair/plumbing/welding/ roofing work/grounds keeping/painting/laboring and custodial work. Will operate equipment such as a front-end loader, back hoe, bulldozer, mobile crane, road grader, forklift, motor boat, and pontoon barge. Sewage and water treatment plant operation may be required as well as flood control equipment operation depending on which project location. Provides support to the Contracting Officers Representative for project maintenance contracts.
