   Here’s the description: 

Position is located at Dewey Lake, Van Lear, Kentucky.

This is a permanent, full time, of work of less than 12 months each year. Seasonal employees are permanent employees who are placed in nonduty/nonpay status and recalled to duty in accordance with preestablished conditions of employment.

Seasonal employment means annually recurring periods. Performs a variety of operation and maintenance duties under detailed guidance and instructions in a developmental capacity performing assignments and completing training, both of which are aimed in preparing the incumbent to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties at the WG-4749-08 level. Incumbent may be non-competitively promoted to the WG-8 pending demonstration of abilities to perform the next higher/target level grade duties.

Work is at a comprehensive water resource project consisting of a flood control dam and appurtenant structures, public-use recreational facilities, forest lands and roads. Performs duties such as electrical work, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, roofing, painting, motor vehicle operations, laboring, groundskeeping and custodial support.
